Teaching Fellows Institute – Summer Symposium, Day 3

On the final day of TFI’s 2026 Summer Symposium, Julia Walthall-Eisman, Educational Technologist and Head of Strategic Program, will conduct a workshop entitled, “Dig In to AI: Tangible Takeaways. It will focus on tangible takeaways and product creation using AI tools as a thought partner and content generator. Teachers will walk away having used AI to reflect and revise current practices, create new products to use in the service of teaching and learning, develop an activity for age-appropriate student engagement with AI, and generate a plan for intentional growth of students’ human skills in the age of AI. Along with discussing lingering questions and concerns, teachers will also come away with a plan of action if they feel advocacy is needed at their school as it relates to AI policy or integration.
