- demonstrates a love of students
- demonstrates a passion for teaching
- demonstrates leadership
- demonstrates the ability to initiate new ideas/approaches
- is a positive member of the school team
- is considered highly effective
- makes the school a better place for students and colleagues
- demonstrates cultural competency and/or an interest in developing cultural competency
- has at least three years experience
