Charlotte, NC October 2016 –The Teaching Fellows Institute (TFI) announced today that it has been honored with a prestigious Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations. “We are excited to be named a Top-Rated 2016 Nonprofit,” says Barbara Caldwell, Executive Director of the Teaching Fellows Institute. “We are proud of our accomplishments this year engaging, honoring and inspiring our over 300 Teaching Fellows. The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that TFI received. People posted their personal experience with TFI and so far all have given TFI the highest marks.”
While the Top-Rated Awards run through the end of October, TFI was part of the inaugural group to qualify for the year. In addition, TFI has been added to GreatNonprofits #GivingTuesday Guide—an interactive guide to top nonprofits throughout the years. The purpose of the Teaching Fellows Institute is to recognize and honor the Charlotte area’s outstanding teachers and to provide opportunities that further develop their leadership and professional expertise in order to promote retention of these effective educators.
